According to the CDC, Breast Cancer is the 6th leading cause of death among American Women. In 2004, 186,772 women and 1,815 were diagnosed with breast cancer, and 40,954 women and 362 men died from breast cancer. It's important that we are diligent in our efforts to educate ourselves and others about the disease and look to professionals for treatment and support.
Deanna Gibson, a dear friend, Licensed Professional Counselor, and breast cancer survivor will share her personal experience with breast cancer and educate listeners about the emotional needs of those affected by Breast Cancer.
